UK: from £47,925 (40 xDrive) · £53,425 (50 xDrive) · Germany: from €65,900 (reported) · US: from $61,500 plus destination, sales from early 2027
BMW i3 sedan (saloon) 2027
- The electric BMW 3 Series: a sedan (called a saloon in the UK) on BMW's Neue Klasse platform, with up to 567 miles of WLTP range claimed on the 50 xDrive (441 miles on the 40 xDrive).
- UK: the i3 40 xDrive is from £47,925 and the 50 xDrive from £53,425. Germany: from €65,900 (reported). US: from $61,500 plus $1,350 destination, with US sales from the first quarter of 2027.
- Every range, power and charging figure here is BMW's claim. CAR magazine saw 3.7 mi/kWh on a test drive and said it was easily over 400 miles, but that is one tester's reading, not a full range test, so treat 567 miles as a ceiling.
