BMW iX5 (2027)

UK orders open · from £85,375 · deliveries spring 2027

BMW iX5 (2027)

  • The first electric BMW X5: up to 525 miles WLTP, depending on trim and wheels, and £510 cheaper than the diesel X5 40d in the same M Sport trim.
  • No proper range test yet. BMWBlog's efficiency suggests about 400 miles in normal driving; Electrifying estimates 350–450.
  • First drives (California, 22 Oct 2026) praise the comfort and charging but note the 2.8-tonne weight, screen-heavy cabin and five seats only. Auto Express says try the iX3 first.
